Orientacao (Guidance), Alumni Talk Series is a programme initiated by the School of English with the assistance of the students who had graduated from the School of English of our college. It is conducted in association with IQAC of the college. The programme is intended to make our students aware of the opportunities that lies ahead of them once they complete the course. ‘Orientacao’ the word itself means guidance and the platform provides guidance from the alumni of our department who have achieved academic and professional excellence.

The first session of the programme was conducted online on 24th February at 2:30 pm. The session was inaugurated by Dr. Unni C.J, Principal, DiST. The key speaker of the session was Mr. Rajat Sebastian, an alumni of the department who is now a PhD scholar at Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. The address of welcome was delivered by HOD, Assistant Professor Mr. Sanilkumar PS. The address by the guest was followed by an interaction session.
