About the NSS

Development of human resource is the prime function of education. Therefore, every educational institution should aim at shaping the human soul to fit into the society to which he belongs. Education serves as a tool for this Transformation.

NSS has been functioning in the realm of higher education since last four decades. The overall objective of NSS is education and service to the community and essentially it is a student centered programme. Whatever the community gets should be as a by-product and the principal product should be the educational experience which the volunteer student is likely to acquire through his participation in the projects.
