De Paul Institute of Science & Technology, Angamaly (DiST), approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to M G University, Kottayam has made its mark in the educational landscape of higher education in Kerala since its inception in the year 2002. Over these two decades of its existence DIST has embraced a system which caters to the holistic development of its student community.

Academic Monitoring System in DiST is a diagnostic approach, cross referencing between curriculum & instructional elements. It provides guidance & support in improving the implementation of curriculum at the institute level. The committee understands the academic programs and supervises the teaching learning process on a routine basis.

Improve the teaching learning system by facilitating effective and regular monitoring to ensure higher standards.

Mission

Regular and meticulous evaluation and monitoring of the academic activities to improve the standards and efficacy of the teaching learning system by incorporating diagnostic and remedial measures in the frame work of well-defined and dynamic structure.

Objectives

1. Improve the quality and efficacy of the teaching learning process.
2. Evaluate the instructional means and the curriculum goals.
3. Implement remedial methods to improve the learning standards by maintaining diagnostic approaches and evaluate the student support systems and programmes.
